Balassi language program

An integral part of the accredited courses of the Balassi Scholarship Program is the teaching of Hungarian as a foreign language, which dates back more than 60 years through our predecessor institutions. Our specialist teachers help hundreds of foreign students from more than 40 countries around the world to learn the language. Nowadays, we pass on 24,000 lesson hours’ worth of knowledge to our students on a yearly basis.

The KKM Magyar Diplomáciai Akadémia Kft offers Balassi Hungarian language courses in various levels, covering beginner level as well as advanced levels. The purpose of the courses is to improve the applicant’s ability to read, write and communicate in Hungarian with stable knowledge of grammar.

After application, non-beginner students will fill in a placement test before the start of the course to determine their level of knowledge, and are placed into groups of 5-12 other students with similar levels of knowledge.

The lessons are 45 minutes long. The schedule of the classes:

Morning class
9.00am-10.30am - study
10.30am-10.45am – break
10.45am-12.15pm - study

Evening class
6.00pm-8.15pm - study

HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE COURSE?

The first step of registration is filling in the application form after selecting the type of course you would like to attend, Please make sure to answer all the questions, then send it to the contact E-mail address. You will then receive the confirmation of the tuition fee and the account details where the fee should be transferred to.

If a visa is required for your stay in Hungary, you must register before the deadline specified in the information sheet, and need to request a Certificate which confirms application and full payment that you can use for your application for visa type „Other”. In this case the selected course has to be a 20 hour-per-week course (Intensive).
